What You Will Do
  • Lead design and development of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems.
  • Drive product development activities from concept, prototyping, verification, validation, and production release.
  • Perform engineering analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and design reviews.
  • Create and approve engineering drawings utilizing GD&T best practices.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Partner with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and service teams.
  • Execute verification testing and document results for regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of product design and development experience.
  • Experience in FDA-regulated environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with NX or comparable 3D CAD software.
  • Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
  • Strong GD&T, FMEA, DFMA, and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Strong electromechanical design experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience developing Class II or Class III medical devices.
  • Experience leading products through the full development lifecycle.
  • Advanced Siemens NX and Teamcenter expertise.
  • Hands-on FEA and CFD simulation experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14971 risk management methodologies.
  • Experience with FDA Design Controls and IEC standards.
  • Expertise with motors, drives, sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and accelerated life testing.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing and supplier qualification.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP certifications are a plus.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews.

The base pay range for this position is:
$128,480 - $176,660
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
