Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and organize healthcare-related legal documents and contracts.

  • Manage client intake, maintain confidential medical records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

  • Coordinate with attorneys to prepare case files and support litigation readiness.

  • Monitor matter pipelines and update status dashboards for leadership visibility.

  • Prepare and file court documents and administrative agency submissions on schedule.

  • Maintain accurate billable hours, deliverables, and progress reports for management.

  • Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations and summarize findings.

  • Support contract negotiations by gathering facts, timelines, and data room organization.

  • Assist with risk assessments and due diligence for healthcare-related matters.

  • Develop templates and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure timely updates.


Experience/Qualifications

Paralegal Certificate or in the process

  • Paralegal with healthcare law exposure and HIPAA knowledge.

  • Experience drafting and reviewing healthcare contracts and documents.

  • HIPAA compliance monitoring and privacy risk assessment.

  • Ability to manage client intake and maintain confidential medical records.
