Frontier Sleep & Wellness is a growing sleep medicine practice dedicated to helping patients improve their health and quality of life through innovative, patient-centered care. Managed by North American Dental Sleep Management (NADSM), our practice combines clinical excellence with operational expertise to deliver exceptional care while supporting rapid growth.

North American Dental Sleep Management (NADSM) is an administrative and management services organization supporting a growing network of Dental and Sleep Medicine practices across the country. We provide the operational infrastructure, administrative expertise, and strategic leadership that allow our providers to focus on what matters most—delivering outstanding patient care.

As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Frontier Sleep & Wellness. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, creating efficient processes, and driving measurable results in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Frontier Sleep & Wellness, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, operational efficiency, and team performance. This leader will manage staffing, provider scheduling, operational workflows, quality assurance, reporting, and key performance metrics while partnering closely with NADSM leadership to support the continued growth of the practice.

This position requires a proactive leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, improving systems, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


What You'll Do

Practice Operations

  • Oversee the daily operations of Frontier Sleep & Wellness to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
  • Develop and improve operational workflows that support practice growth and scalability.
  • Monitor daily schedules, provider capacity, and clinic flow to maximize efficiency.
  • Address operational challenges related to patient care, scheduling, insurance, technology, and staffing.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Medical Assistants, Home Sleep Test (HST) Coordinators, Nurse Practitioners, and administrative staff.
  • Lead regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance discussions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

Scheduling & Provider Support

  • Manage provider schedules and clinic capacity to optimize patient access.
  • Coordinate onboarding and scheduling for new providers as the practice expands.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational demands.

Quality & Performance

  • Monitor operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Complete end-of-day, end-of-week, and monthly operational reporting.
  • Conduct appointment audits and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify trends and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and operational performance.

Strategic Growth

  • Partner with NADSM leadership to implement growth initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Lead special projects and process optimization efforts.
  • Support new service lines, provider expansion, and future clinic growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, medical practice management, or a similar service-focused environment.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical office operations, scheduling, patient experience, and operational metrics.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR), practice management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve processes, and develop high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing sleep medicine, dental, or specialty healthcare practices.
  • Familiarity with EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System), including Level 10 Meetings (L10s), Rocks, and Scorecards.
  • Experience supporting multi-provider or multi-location practices.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • Primary office location: Cedar Park, Texas.
  • Weekly leadership meetings held at our South Austin administrative office.
  • Occasional travel between practice locations as business needs require.
