Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing behavioral health team. This hybrid position is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring licensed mental health professionals throughout Ohio to provide services in our partnering skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare recruiting background, excels in sourcing high-quality candidates, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where speed and quality of hires are equally important.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit licensed behavioral health professionals across the state of Ohio, including but not limited to:
§ Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)
§ Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)
§ Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW)
§ Licensed Social Workers (LSW)
§ Qualified Mental Health Specialists (QMHS III)
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Conduct thorough phone and virtual interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, clinical experience, communication skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage the recruitment process from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner closely with clinical leadership and operations to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Fill open positions quickly while maintaining high standards for candidate quality.
- Build relationships with universities, professional organizations, and healthcare networks to support ongoing recruiting efforts.
- Attend career fairs, networking events, and recruiting events throughout Ohio.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Travel throughout Ohio as needed to meet candidates, attend hiring events, and support business growth.
- During periods of lower recruiting activity, provide support to the Human Resources team by assisting with staffing and recruiting for the organization's outpatient clinics.
Qualifications
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- At least 2 years of healthcare recruiting experience required.
- Experience recruiting licensed healthcare or behavioral health professionals required.
- Proven ability to recruit and fill positions quickly in a competitive market.
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Strong source and networking abilities.
- Outstanding communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously while meeting hiring deadlines.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Apploi and Indeed are utilized.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Ohio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for behavioral health, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care organizations.
- Knowledge of Ohio behavioral health licensure requirements.
- Experience recruiting in a multi-site healthcare environment.
