Job description

Digital Transformation Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a digital transformation professional, you know that implementing improved digital initiatives with effective Digital Strategy and Process Design is crucial for your client's future. You're eager to apply your experience and defense sector knowledge to develop creative solutions. We're looking for someone like you to apply your knowledge and help organizations solve their traditional business challenges with new digital strategies and solutions.

As a digital transformation specialist on our team, you'll be trusted to transform defense organizations by implementing Digital Strategy and Process Design. Using IT strategy, mission engineering, and Agile techniques, you'll work closely with key stakeholders and other technical professionals to develop and contribute to transformative technology solutions.

In this role, you'll directly impactdefense organizations byhelping them transform their business processes using advanced technology. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • Experience working on complex Digital Strategy or Process Re-engineering initiatives

  • Experience independently completing high quality work products such as IT roadmaps and plans, business process maps, or mission or digital engineering products

  • Experience using collaboration and organizational tools including the Microsoft Suite and tools such as MS Project, MS Visio, MS Teams, Slack, Jira, and Confluence

  • Experience using Agile frameworks and techniques

  • Knowledge of Digital and IT Strategy and Business Process Design

  • Ability to work independently and use organizational tools including MS Project, MS Teams, Slack, and Jira to plan and sequence tasks for yourself and others

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with U.S. Air Force or Department of War organizations at the enterprise level

  • Knowledge of Design Thinking, UI/UX, or visual design

  • Knowledge of IT portfolio management, mission and digital engineering, software development, or Data Science and AI

  • Possession strong teamwork skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to build consensus

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree

  • Agile Certification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma, or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
