Healthcare Administrative Assistant / Practice AssistantPay Rate: $20/hrAbout the Role

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Administrative Assistant to support front desk operations at a clinical location. This is a contract opportunity ideal for candidates with healthcare administrative experience who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serving as the first point of contact for patients — greeting, checking in, and directing them appropriately
  • Answering and managing a high volume of incoming calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Managing incoming electronic faxes, correspondence, and administrative documentation
  • Preparing patient materials and supporting clinical staff with procedural preparation as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and navigating the Epic EMR system
  • Delivering excellent customer service in every patient and staff interaction
What We're Looking For
  • Prior front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a busy clinical environment
  • Medical knowledge or familiarity with hospital operations a plus
