Overview

Pay: $64,000 - $68,000 per year (DOE) 

Location: 3072 Early St NW Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30305 

Schedule: Monday - Friday Full-Time

                   8:30 am - 5:00 pm 

                   two evening days per week 11:30 am - 7:30 pm

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our growing Outpatient Clinic in Buckhead, GA. As a key member of our clinical team, you'll provide individual and family therapy for teenagers and young adults in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), helping youth and families in the Atlanta metro area access high-quality mental health treatment close to home.

Our experienced therapists support families through evidence-based care, specializing in treating adolescents facing behavioral health challenges. We offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation.

Get a chance to work with our youngest cohort of clients in our Jump Start program, focusing on kids from 9-12 years old. Enjoy small caseloadsno weekends or on-call shifts, and unleash your clinical creativity in a supportive, innovative environment. Plus, we offer free supervision hours if needed!

Join us in reducing adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide rates while working with a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Responsibilities
  • Meet treatment standards through implementation of required notes and MTP standard requirements.
  • Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings.
  • Meet desired program goals through implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
  • Ensure program completion and discharge requirements are met for all students.
  • Discharge plans for all students should be completed and reviewed with students and family members.
  • Conducts intake assessments as required to support the admissions team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Qualified for licensure but not yet a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Preferred -Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preferred - One year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Experience practicing DBT, TF-CBT and SMART Recovery a plus!
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
  • Ability to pass a state background check.
