Job description

Population Health & Wellbeing Consultant
Help Employers Build Healthier Workforces
At R&R Insurance Services, we believe employee benefits should do more than fund healthcare. They should improve lives, strengthen organizations, and help employers make smarter decisions about one of their largest investments: their people.
We're looking for a Population Health & Wellbeing Consultant to join our Employee Benefits team. In this role, you'll partner with employers to turn healthcare data into strategies that improve employee wellbeing, enhance the employee experience, and help manage healthcare costs.
What You'll Do
As a trusted advisor, you'll help clients better understand their population health data and develop strategies that improve outcomes for both employees and the organization.
You'll:
  • Analyze medical and pharmacy claims, health assessments, and other population health data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop strategic recommendations that improve employee health, increase engagement, and help employers manage healthcare costs.
  • Facilitate planning sessions and present recommendations that help leadership teams make informed decisions.
  • Evaluate healthcare trends, vendor solutions, and emerging population health strategies.
  • Measure program effectiveness through participation, outcomes, ROI, and overall impact.

Partner Across the Business
You'll collaborate with Benefits Consultants, Account Executives, carrier partners, and vendors to deliver exceptional client service while supporting renewal meetings, strategic planning sessions, and new business opportunities.
You'll also help clients implement wellbeing initiatives such as employee engagement campaigns, educational programs, onsite screenings, wellness fairs, and vendor solutions that align with their goals.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and using data to drive better business decisions.
Successful candidates will likely have experience in employee benefits consulting, population health, wellness consulting, health plan consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
You'll also bring:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Three or more years of experience advising employer groups on population health, wellbeing, or employee benefits strategies.
  • Experience interpreting healthcare data such as medical and pharmacy claims or utilization reports.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for executive audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills, consultative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships.

Why R&R?
As one of the Midwest's largest independently owned insurance agencies, R&R offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside an experienced Employee Benefits team. Here, you'll help clients create healthier, more engaged workforces while contributing to innovative solutions that set R&R apart.
