Position Overview

The Priory Wellbeing Center is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our outpatient team. This full-time position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to improving the mental health and emotional well-being of individuals in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in therapeutic sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention strategies for acute situations, stabilizing patients in distress and formulating rapid response measures.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing treatment effectiveness and patient safety.
  • Track and document patient progress, utilizing assessment tools to inform care changes as patients evolve in their recovery journey.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, equipping them with coping strategies and resources to manage their conditions effectively.
