Health First Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Clarkson, New York. This role primarily involves diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions within our Primary Care outpatient facility, where you will play a pivotal role in promoting health and wellness for our diverse patient population.

This onsite position is based in our hospital's Primary Care outpatient office, fostering an environment of collaboration and teamwork. You will work alongside a talented staff comprised of five medical doctors and five nurse practitioners. As a Physician Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations to assess patients' health status and reviewing their medical histories.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnosing acute and chronic health conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and prescribing medications as needed.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educating patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance overall well-being.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care for patients.
• Participating in health promotion initiatives and community outreach programs designed to increase awareness of preventive health practices.
• Staying abreast of medical advancements and contributing to clinical discussions or research initiatives to promote knowledge sharing.

The primary focus of this role is to serve patients in our outpatient setting, addressing a diverse range of health issues across age groups and backgrounds. You will engage with individuals seeking ongoing care for chronic conditions, as well as patients presenting with acute medical concerns. Your empathetic approach and strong communication skills will be crucial in educating and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journeys.

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting, with a preference for primary care.
• Current valid Physician Assistant license in New York State and certification as a PA-C.
• DEA registration to prescribe medications.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in acute care, chronic disease management, and preventative care practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong ethics, patience, and the ability to remain level-headed in high-pressure situations.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, but this is not required.
• Experience or familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information effectively.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, Health First Medical Center provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
