Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations to assess patients' health status and reviewing their medical histories.

  • Diagnosing acute and chronic health conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and prescribing medications as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting, with a preference for primary care.
  • Current valid Physician Assistant license in New York State and certification as a PA-C.
  • DEA registration to prescribe medications.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in acute care, chronic disease management, and preventative care practices.

Compensation and Benefits
