Description
Head Start Birth-5 has an opening for a non-exempt full-time Health - Mental Health Manager working 35 hours a week, year-round. The Health - Mental Health Manager is responsible for managing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive health, dental, and mental health programs for enrolled pregnant women, enrolled children birth-5, and promoting staff wellness. The Manager also serves as a Head Start Birth-5 Management Team member with the responsibility of assuring Head Start Program Performance Standards and Indiana Daycare Licensing Regulations are met.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Education, or Human Services or correlated discipline is required; experience in prenatal and/or pediatric health administration preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Proficient in computer systems and functions, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Internet, and email usage. LHDC may provide on the job training to obtain the appropriate credentials if necessary.
Must meet Head Start and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical and complete an annual T.B. test.
