HPS Consulting is a new and dynamic internal consulting department within SHS, specializing in project management support, process optimization, and transformation support for internal customers.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr Management Consultant, you will be responsible for:
  • You take responsibility for establishing and expanding business relationships with internal customers, working closely with their leadership teams to align upcoming consulting projects with strategic business and transformation goals.
  • You independently drive the acquisition of new customer projects by identifying existing optimization potentials and actively addressing them through regular exchanges with business unit leaders and decision-makers.
  • You lead global initiatives and projects for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and productivity increases across various business areas, acting as an active partner in strategic planning and operational implementation.
  • You ensure the achievement of project objectives for complex consulting assignments by managing project budgets, resources, and milestones.
  • You regularly conduct value stream analyses, process analyses, and root cause analyses to solve problems and support our customers in designing and implementing necessary optimization measures.

  • You have 10+ years working experience, ideally in different industries and roles.
  • You have 5+ years of consulting and leadership experience in the process consulting environment, either in an external or internal consulting role.
  • You have extensive experience in the operational implementation of improvement projects in Supply Chain Management, as well as in service or sales environments.
  • You have a proven track record in process optimization and in executing productivity and cost reduction initiatives within large organizations.
  • You possess strong knowledge of data analysis and are proficient in using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • You have in-depth expertise in performance improvement methodologies, particularly from the Lean Management field, such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving
  • You feel comfortable in diverse settings and are open to regular travel (approximately 30%).
  • Ability to travel internationally

Required skills to have for the success of this role:
  • You have a university degree in business administration, engineering, management, economics, or a related field.
  • You have certified knowledge in multiple Lean Methods, Six Sigma and Project Management
  • Ideally you hold a certified education in Professional Consulting

The base pay range for this position is:
$200,420 - $275,572
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
