Insurance Coordinator
Hours: (M-TH) 7am-4pm and (F) 7am-2pm
Location: Onsite in Greenwood, IN
Rate: $22.00/hour
Mid America Health is growing! We are seeking a full-time Insurance Coordinator to add to our team! Strong customer/patient service skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must to be successful in this position!
This position will work with our School Smiles Division and will primarily be responsible for:
  • Verification of private dental insurances and Medicaid dental benefits.
  • Communication with parents to retrieve additional details needed for dental insurance.
  • Managing accounts receivable including appeals.
  • Liaison between our patients and clients as well our portable dental teams in the field.

Insurance Coordinator Job Requirements:
  • Insurance verification experience (dental insurance preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Insurance Coordinator ideal candidate will possess skills in:
  • Front Office dental experience
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and billing codes
  • Prior experience with dental practice management software
