Job description

Steadfast Health was founded to establish a new standard of substance use disorder (SUD) care. Recognizing that traditional treatment methods often fall short of reaching patients when they're most in need, Steadfast is relentlessly focused on making low-barrier, high quality care accessible to all. We know that the journey to recovery is unique for every individual, and our patient-centered approach ensures we meet patients where they are, providing evidence-based therapies with unwavering support in a compassionate environment that fosters healing and growth.

About this Role

As a valued member of our fully integrated care team, you'll work hand in hand with colleagues across disciplines, ensuring each patient's journey is supported, coordinated, and guided toward the best possible outcome.

Your wellbeing matters to us. That's why we keep caseloads balanced to safeguard both the quality of your care and your own wellbeing. You'll also have weekly supervision and peer consultation, ensuring you always feel supported and connected. And we're here to help you grow by providing CEU funding, licensure support, and specialized addiction-focused training-while also providing the flexibility of hybrid and telehealth options to fit your lifestyle. Come join a team where your expertise is valued, your voice is heard and your impact is lasting.

  • Continuing Education: Annual CEU stipend & ongoing paid training
  • Support Toward Licensure: If needed, we provide clinical supervisors to sign off on your hours - helping you earn your license without the cost of an outside supervisor.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, confidential access to therapist sessions, legal guidance, financial resources, health coaching, and more - to support your overall well-being.
  • Protected Time: daily downtime for recharging, clinical supervision, cx-functional collaboration, and administrative tasks (including dedicated daily blocks totaling 1 hour)
  • AI-enabled EMR documentation to reduce administrative burden
  • 401K Match up to 5%
  • 100% employer-paid short-term and long-term disability and employer-sponsored life insurance
  • A long-term commitment to reasonable caseloads and therapist representation on the leadership team
  • An opportunity to get in at the ground level and shape how we grow!
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Provide individual and IOP group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.

  • Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
  • Champion the company's mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
  • Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in SUD treatment.
Qualifications
  • Licensed as a LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Certification in addiction counseling is a plus.
