Job description

Role: Healthcare Project Manager (Nurse Call / RTLS)

Location: Remote

Duration: 12-month contract (strong extension potential)

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Project Managers to serve as dedicated subject matter experts supporting Nurse Call and Real-Time Location System (RTLS) initiatives across enterprise construction, facility transformation, and acquisition projects.

This role will oversee the planning, coordination, implementation, and delivery of critical patient care technology solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong healthcare IT knowledge, hands-on experience with Nurse Call systems and/or RTLS platforms, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Lead Nurse Call and RTLS-related projects across multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedules, risks, issues, and resource planning.
  • Coordinate activities between vendors, hospital leadership, IT teams, clinical stakeholders, and construction partners.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, budgets, and executive communications.
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively identify risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, testing activities, implementation planning, and go-live support.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting within PMO governance processes.
  • Partner with large-scale vendors and their project teams to ensure successful implementations.
  • Support projects through analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing projects involving Nurse Call systems and/or RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems).
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing technical implementations within a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Experience working with large vendors to implement and deploy technology solutions.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Project planning and scheduling
    • Budget management

    • Vendor coordination

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with:
    • Clinical Engineering

  • Experience supporting clinical device implementations with vendors such as Philips, GE Healthcare, or similar.

  • Experience collaborating with architects, floor plans, design reviews, and healthcare construction initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
