Location: Federal Way, WA
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Commission + Bonus Opportunities + Benefits

Field Service Manager Description

Our client in the facilities services industry is looking for a hands-on Service Manager to add to their team in Federal Way, WA. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day service operations, including service execution, product delivery, route scheduling, labor utilization, and overall profitability. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards across restroom sanitation programs, odor control solutions, floor care services, and other facility offerings while optimizing staffing levels, routing efficiency, and operational margins. To set you up for success, you’ll spend the first 3- 6 months learning the business from the ground up, working alongside technicians in the field to develop a deep understanding of operations, services, and customer expectations. This is an ideal opportunity for a leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in running efficient, high-performing operations.

Service Manager Responsibilities

•    Lead daily service operations across assigned accounts
•    Train and coach technicians on service standards, equipment usage, and product installations
•    Support recurring program sales during service visits to maintain and grow revenue 
•    Oversee route planning and scheduling to maximize efficiency and profitability
•    Monitor labor performance against budget and adjust staffing as needed
•    Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction
•    Hire, onboard, and develop service technicians and team leads
•    Manage inventory, supply distribution, and cost control initiatives
•    Ensure compliance with safety standards, chemical handling, and equipment maintenance
•    Build and maintain strong client relationships, resolve issues quickly
•    Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
•    Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Service Manager Qualifications

•    3+ years of experience leading teams in facility services, janitorial, logistics, or a related service environment required
•    Understanding of scheduling, routing, and labor management required
•    A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside technicians in the field required
•    Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally across WA & OR required
