About the role

Job Description The Supervisor, Operations โ€“ Facility Services is responsible for leading the safe, compliant, and efficient day-to-day operations of the facility while promoting the Reworldโ„ข Core Values and safety culture. This position provides direct supervision of operations personnel engaged in material handling, rail operations, industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, roll splitting, and other facility services. The Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with environmental permits, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining production schedules, achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and developing employees through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. This role serves as the primary facility services operational leader during assigned shifts and is responsible for maintaining operational continuity, responding to changing plant conditions, coordinating multiple work activities, and supporting long-term facility growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Champion safety and environmental compliance. Lead daily operations, staffing, production scheduling, and shift turnover. Oversee facility services including railcar sampling and unloading/cleaning, tank cleaning, roll splitting, material processing, and facility cleaning. Ensure waste acceptance, QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and permit adherence. Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment readiness. Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate employees. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Additional duties as needed by the facility.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in industrial, manufacturing, environmental services, or related operations. Experience with material handling, or waste processing preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems such as NetSuite preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field. Class B CDL Experience with RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and environmental permitting. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworldโ€™s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $69,100.00 - $91,900.00 USD per annum.
