Job Summary
As a Facility Service Tech, you will perform heavy-duty cleaning and related yard maintenance work in an assigned area, building complex, or outdoor area.

Facility Technician Core Responsibilities
  1. Painting & Surface Finishing - Prepare and paint interior/exterior surfaces; perform drywall patching, texturing, and touch-ups to maintain property appearance.
  2. Flooring Installation & Repair - Install, repair, and replace vinyl, LVP, laminate, carpet tile, and other flooring systems.
  3. Drywall & Wall Repairs - Repair or replace damaged drywall; patch, tape, mud, sand, and texture to match existing finishes.
  4. General Carpentry & Construction - Perform minor framing, trim work, door and hardware repair, shelving installation, and support renovation projects.
  5. Lighting & Basic Electrical - Replace fixtures, bulbs, switches, outlets, and ballasts; troubleshoot minor electrical issues within scope of responsibility.
  6. Ceiling Systems - Replace ceiling tiles, repair suspended grid systems, and report water intrusion or structural concerns.
  7. Cabinetry & Millwork - Repair and install cabinets, doors, drawer hardware, and related millwork components.
  8. Basic Plumbing - Repair and replace faucets, toilets, disposals, supply lines, P-traps, and resolve minor leaks and drain clogs.
  9. Cleaning & Property Appearance - Perform cleaning responsibilities; maintain common areas; remove debris; pressure wash surfaces; ensure sanitary and professional property presentation.
  10. Grounds Maintenance & Equipment Operation - Perform mowing, trimming, weed eating, brush control, trash removal, and site containment; safely operate forklifts, tractors, and skid steers in accordance with company policy and safety standards.
  11. Cleaning & Janitorial Services - Perform detailed unit turn cleanings; sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances; sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces; maintain common areas, hallways, stairwells, and amenities; manage trash removal and dumpster areas; ensure overall cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently upheld.

Preventative Maintenance, Safety & Professional Conduct - Complete work orders efficiently; conduct inspections; maintain tools and inventory; adhere to OSHA and company safety standards; communicate professionally with fellow associates; and escalate major issues appropriately
M-F - May change based on production needs, mandatory overtime often required
