Headhunter Remote Jobs in Wisconsin (NOW HIRING)

Headhunter Remote information

What is a headhunter remote?

A Headhunter Remote job involves identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top talent for companies while working remotely. Headhunters specialize in finding highly qualified candidates, often for senior or specialized roles, by leveraging networks, databases, and direct outreach. They collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and match candidates accordingly. Working remotely, they use digital tools for communication, interviews, and candidate assessments, ensuring an efficient hiring process without being location-dependent.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a headhunter remote?

A successful Headhunter Remote requires expertise in talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, and an in-depth understanding of various industries, typically supported by prior recruiting or HR experience. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), online sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, and sometimes certifications like AIRS can be valuable. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and time management skills distinguish top performers in this role. These competencies ensure that remote headhunters can identify and engage high-quality candidates efficiently and build strong client relationships despite working virtually.

What are the biggest challenges of working as a remote headhunter, and how can they be overcome?

One of the main challenges of being a remote headhunter is building strong relationships with clients and candidates without the benefit of in-person interactions. It also requires managing your own schedule and keeping yourself motivated as you source and screen talent independently. Using video conferencing, maintaining consistent communication, and leveraging digital collaboration tools can help overcome these barriers. Additionally, proactively seeking feedback and building a strong online presence are effective strategies to establish credibility and connection in a virtual recruiting environment.

Is it worth using a headhunter to find a job?

Using a headhunter for a remote job can be beneficial as they have industry connections and access to unadvertised positions, potentially speeding up the job search process. They can also provide interview coaching and market insights, which are valuable for job seekers. However, it is important to verify their reputation and ensure they specialize in your field to maximize the benefit.

REQUIREMENTS: US Citizen or Green Card holder; strong phone comfort, resilience, and desire to build a long-term six-figure career

If you are a motivated sales professional looking to leverage your relationship-building drive into a lucrative, long-term business-to-business career, this is an exceptional opportunity to build something of your own within an established company. At Impact Solutions, we have spent over 30 years embedding ourselves as trusted talent partners for premier manufacturing and engineering firms across Wisconsin.

You will not be starting from scratch or cold-calling into the void. We are hiring a Full Desk Recruiter to take over an active, warm territory with hundreds of established local manufacturing prospects, proven sourcing systems, and a massive candidate database. Rather than spending your first year trying to build a market from zero, you will receive hands-on mentorship while turning an active market into consistent placements and long-term client partnerships.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

  • Master Full Desk Methodology: Complete comprehensive, hands-on training covering advanced headhunting tactics, client development, and cloud-based ATS operations.
  • Take Over and Grow an Active Territory: Prospect, connect, and build relationships with executives, plant managers, and engineering leaders across established Wisconsin manufacturing accounts.
  • Conduct High-Volume Outbound Outreach: Execute consistent, targeted phone outreach to corporate decision-makers and high-caliber passive technical candidates.
  • Drive End-to-End Placement Cycles: Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle—sourcing candidates, vetting technical talent, coordinating interviews, managing feedback, and closing job offers.
  • Deliver Consultative Pitching: Present compelling verbal marketing messages that cut through the noise and win new client relationships and recruiting opportunities.
  • Build Long-Term Business Value: Build a personal book of business within Impact Solutions that grows in value and income year after year.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • Proven Sales Drive: 1+ years of verifiable success in target-driven, commission-heavy, or high-activity sales environments (automotive, cellular, retail, wireless, or inside sales).
  • Strong Phone Presence: Complete comfort making daily outbound calls, opening new conversations, and confidently building rapport with corporate executives.
  • Mental Resilience: A competitive, goal-oriented mindset with the resilience to handle rejection, learn from it, and keep moving forward.
  • Relationship Builder: Natural ability to listen, establish rapid authority, and build lasting trust with hiring managers and technical professionals.
  • Proximity & Work Ethic: A solid work history showing long-term commitment, and local residence within approximately 20 minutes of our Brookfield, WI office.
  • Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (no relocation assistance available).
