Description / Scope / Mission
Recruiting hourly, non-exempt, and salaried exempt personnel. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications. Assist the Human Resources Director with administrative duties as requested.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
  1. Source and recruit all candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  2. Screen candidates resume and job applications.
  3. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
  4. Complete reference and background checks on candidates.
  5. Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  6. Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the team.
  7. Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.
  8. Promote the company's reputation as an "Employer of Choice."
  9. Assist in the job posting and advertising process in order to attract qualified candidates.
  10. Facilitate the offer process by extending an offer once approved by HR Director.
  11. Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  12. Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process for hourly personnel.
  13. Schedule pre-employment testing after a contingent offer of employment has been made.
  14. Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  15. Work with temporary agencies in obtaining hourly employees based on production needs, as a supplement.
  16. Track temporary employment hours for hiring as Northern Labs employees after they reach 480 hours.
  17. Conduct orientations and onboarding process for new hires, transfer, promotions, etc.
  18. Attend job fairs as needed.
  19. Track paperwork for new hires.
  20. Posting jobs on TV monitors and bulletin boards.
  21. Work with training processes and documents as needed.
  22. Back up the receptionist as needed.
  23. Back up for Verkada Access Card system and Dayforce system.
  24. Other duties as assigned by management.

MARGINAL JOB DUTIES:
Assist EHS Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
  • Associate Degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year experience recruiting hourly, non-exempt personnel
  • Experience with automated time clock system.
  • Computer knowledge - Excel, Word, Mircosoft Outlook and Teams, Skpe
  • Human Resources background desired.
