Job description
- Act as player-coach, leading small and nimble engineering team in building groundbreaking products
- Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to Keysy leadership, creating value wherever and however possible
- Ensure implementation of best practices and processes facilitating efficient feature development, dev-ops, QA, etc.
- Recruit, train, and manage engineering team
- Help shape the strategic direction of the company
- Provide technical and career mentorship for team members
- Engineering management experience in a high-growth startup or mid-sized product-focused tech company
- Demonstrated experience in delivering well-engineered products
- Passion for early-stage product and company development
- Strong capabilities in both front-end and back-end development
- Understanding of engineering and team management best practices, and ability to implement and scale such appropriate to the needs of early and growth-stage entities
- Enthusiasm for team building and mentoring
- Bias for action and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with or ability to learn the existing tech stack: React, Typescript, Next.js, PostgreSQL
- Experience developing products within the automotive industry or other financially complex transaction scenarios
