Job description

HelloFresh is looking for a Creative Operations Lead to join our Global Creative Operations team in New York. The ideal candidate will be a process maven - equally passionate about empowering people and refining the systems that drive our growing business with the goal of delivering amazing creative and strategic work in support of our Marketing Team and the initiatives of our Stakeholders across the HelloFresh portfolio.
Reporting to the Global Head of Creative Operations and Production, they will be responsible for driving the continuous optimization and improvement of existing processes and workflows. They will lead a team of Project Managers within our in-house Creative Studio, identifying new best-in-class standardizations while keeping us speedy and agile to meet ambitious marketing goals. They will not only develop an in-depth understanding of the tools and technology that support our day-to-day creative execution and provide Marketing team leaders with reliable information to make informed data-driven decisions; but will also partner with the Creative Resource Manager to keep a pulse on capacity planning and project forecasting.
What you'll do:
  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of Creative Project Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team hit production targets every week.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end creative lifecycle for online and offline production, ensuring a seamless flow from initial briefing to final delivery.
  • Sprint & Resource Management: Plan bi-weekly production sprints and lead resource allocation across Designers and Copywriters - balancing full-time, freelance, and third-party support.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between the Creative Studio and cross-functional Stakeholders, ensuring our workstreams evolve alongside shifting business priorities.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to increase speed-to-market. You'll troubleshoot existing workflows and document new, scalable processes.
  • System & Automation Oversight: Own the roadmap for our creative tools and technology, identifying opportunities for systematic automation to maximize output and reduce errors.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Build and maintain reporting that tracks team capacity and studio health, providing Marketing leadership with the insights needed for informed decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead post-launch assessments and process audits to ensure our ways of working remain best-in-class and documented for the global team.

What you'll bring:
  • 7-9 years in-house experience in business operations working with creative teams
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated skill in managing complex project plans
  • Strong knowledge of creative and production workflows and process
  • Experience working in project management systems
  • Experience working in asset management systems
  • Appreciation for and ability to design workflow architecture
