Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Leadership: Own the creative direction of the ANIMAL brand, ensuring all creative output aligns with our strategic vision to broaden our audience while staying true to our roots. Guide the development of impactful, authentic, and innovative creative work across all channels—digital, retail, experiential, and beyond.
  • Team Leadership amp; Development: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, including graphic designers, copy writers, videographers, and external partners. Inspire creativity and foster an environment where innovative ideas can thrive, while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, maintaining the integrity of ANIMAL’s identity while exploring new creative avenues that resonate with emerging audiences. Evolve the brand’s visual and verbal language in a way that remains authentic and compelling.
  • Campaign Concepting amp; Execution: Partner with the brand, product, and content teams to develop and execute breakthrough campaigns, including product launches, ambassador-driven initiatives, and tent pole moments. Drive the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless connection between strategy and creative output.
  • Innovation amp; Experimentation: Stay ahead of creative trends, technologies, and cultural shifts to push the brand into new, bold territories. Champion fresh, forward-thinking approaches to design, digital experiences, and content creation.
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Lead the creative execution across all channels—social media, web, video, experiential, retail, and packaging. Ensure creative concepts are effectively adapted to each platform and deliver consistent brand experiences.
  • Collaboration amp; Communication: Work closely with senior leadership to align creative initiatives with broader business goals. Serve as a key collaborator with brand, product development, and sales to ensure creative strategies are integrated across the organization.
  • Performance amp; Insights: Partner with the brand and data teams to measure the effectiveness of creative initiatives. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve the impact of creative executions on consumer engagement, brand perception, and sales growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, ideally in the CPG industry, with a proven ability to build and scale iconic brands.
  • Expertise in visual design, branding, and storytelling across multiple platforms (digital, print, video, experiential, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in leading creative teams and delivering award-winning creative work that drives business growth and strengthens brand equity.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate brand strategy into innovative, on-brand creative concepts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team while effectively collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • Deep experience working in fitness, performance nutrition, or wellness industries, with a strong personal connection to the culture of performance-driven athletes.
  • Proven track record of evolving brand identities while maintaining core values and authenticity.
  • Experience managing relationships with external creative agencies and production partners.
  • Proficiency in creative software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of emerging digital tools and technologies.
  • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution.
Why Join:
