## Head of CoE Accounting (m/f/d)Applyremote type: Partially Remotelocations: Garchingtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR\_18313**For our Zeppelin Finance Organization at our location in Garching near Munich, we are currently looking for a "Head of CoE Accounting (m/f/d)".****Your tasks & responsibilities:*** In your role as “Head of CoE Accounting (m/f/d),” you will be responsible for ensuring that the Group’s financial statements are prepared properly, on time, and efficiently, as well as for the continuous development of accounting policies, standards and processes.* You will report to our Director Accounting, Controlling, Risk, ICS & Insurance and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and guarantee a professional financial reporting process for all Group companies worldwide.* As a key role in the finance department, you will serve as a sparring partner for the Group Management Board, the Heads of Accounting, Controlling, Risk, ICS and Insurance, Group Controlling, Treasury, and Tax, as well as the auditors and finance managers of the Group companies.* In addition, you will assume overall responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and help ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards throughout the Group.* In this role, you will also assume leadership of the Center of Excellence Accounting Team and thereby ensure the development of an efficient and standardized accounting structure.* Among other responsibilities, you will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal Group requirements (including those related to the Group-wide chart of accounts) and serve as the point of contact for auditors and government agencies.* Your responsibilities also include the harmonization and standardization of global accounting processes, the optimization of financial reporting processes, and the use of automation, digitalization, and AI solutions to improve efficiency.**What we are looking for:*** At least 5 years of professional experience in the accounting department of an international corporation or an auditing firm* Several years of leadership experience in a comparable position* Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable qualification.* Additional professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, Certified Auditor) are considered an advantage.* In-depth knowledge of international financial reporting under IFRS* Good knowledge of modern IT systems (such as SAP S/4HANA, Global Lease Center, Global Tax Center)* Strong affinity for digitalization, automation, and data analysis* Strong leadership and communication skills* Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken**What we offer:*** **Unique corporate culture:** Based on the values of Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin, we act as a foundation company that is future-oriented, social, and sustainable.* **We are sustainable:** We live and breathe environmental and climate protection.
