Job description

Associate Director of Admissions (K-8)  to start July 1st

Head-Royce School seeks a strategic and collaborative admissions professional to serve as the Associate Director of Admissions with focus on the K-8 admissions process. This position works closely with the entire admissions team in order to best position Head-Royce within a competitive marketplace. 

Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the K-8 admissions process including tours and both the student and parent experience.

  • Manage the pipeline of K-8 applicants including customer experience.

  • Strategize with the Director of Enrollment Management, other administrators, and the Communications team to develop specific and targeted marketing plans. 

  • Communicate with applicants/families regarding admissions decisions, including the waitlist process. 

  • Organize and lead the K-8 admissions committee process. 

  • Organize the K-8 open house along with the larger admissions team.

  • Run K-8 assessment processes and 6-8 activity day.

  • Manage K-8 file reading and processes.

  • Review and report on analytics in both a rolling and summative manner. 

  • Survey families at the end of season in order to develop new outreach initiatives and better our processes. 

  • Organize administration of ISEEs. 

  • Attend events as determined by the Director of Enrollment Management. 

  • Participate in campus activities in order to gain a thorough understanding of Head-Royce's programs and traditions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years in admissions, with particular emphasis on Kindergarten processes. 

  • Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills. 

  • Positive presence with applicants and in the larger school community.

$108,000 - $123,000 a year
