Overview

Sales Professionals are our most visible brand ambassadors and help demonstrate our core values. As such, they are responsible for representing Thread with the utmost professionalism. They create enduring relationships to make a positive difference in the organizations and communities we serve by helping our clients achieve the full potential of our HCM Solutions and HR services. A successful Sales Professional promotes Thread's solutions and services to win new business for our company and is responsible for developing enough opportunities to attain their assigned sales quota.

Top 5 Responsibilities

Meet/exceed upon sales and activity targets - Activity targets include metrics around setting and performing FTAs (first-time appointments), as well as partner meetings with benefit brokers and financial advisors. Sales quotas will be based on booked/submitted revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Clearly position product offerings to correct target market - Be able to articulate Thread's unique service value proposition as well as the isolved software and the various offerings within the platform. The sales consultant should also be able to position our HR consulting offerings and how they can benefit clients of varying sizes/needs. Thread's target market is 25-300 ee companies.

Able to demo products at high level - Reps must be able to perform a demonstration of the isolved software and its different products. This includes but is not limited to: payroll, onboarding, applicant tracking, benefit administration, employee self-service, time and attendance, share and perform, and expense.

Develop referral relationships - Being able to build long-term referring relationships with both group health benefit brokers and financial advisors is vital to the sales consultant's long-term success at Thread. These relationships are useful to refer you to their current client base as well as mutual prospects.

Follow up and nurture existing client relationships to improve client experience - As the isolved platform continues to roll out new products, the sales consultant must be educated on those to roll them out to our current client base. In addition, many clients' needs will change, and thus, the sales consultant must be ready and able to address and help with those changing needs. It may also be necessary at times for the sales consultant to serve as a liaison between the client and Operations to resolve urgent issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience in payroll, HCM, HRIS, Benefits, or HR services (HR experience is a plus) and/or Presidents Club qualification
  • Demonstrated ability attaining and/or exceeding established sales quotas
  • Skilled at prospecting for new clients and developing relationships with new referral sources
  • Demonstrated ability to gain access to decision-makers and follow a successful sales process to close business
  • Exemplary communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Competitive โ€“ loves to win โ€“ but also collaborative โ€“ enjoys supporting other Sales team members and other associates
  • Projects a positive image in representing our company to clients and in the community
  • Must have a personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
  • Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or hold a visa that allows you to work in the United States without being sponsored by an employer
