Trauma Neurosurgery opening in FL
Located in Ocala, Florida
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join hospital.
Details:
- Inpatient Only
- Spine fellowship trained and experience in trauma neurosurgery preferred.
- The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma neurosurgery (Hospital-based, Under the trauma department, Managing neuro trauma alerts, Trauma consults, Manage follow-up clinic, Participate in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds)
- Share the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon with APP support.
- The trauma program is the areaโ€™s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF/HCA residency consortium.
- There is APP support as well as a full service line dedicated to trauma patients in the ICU and the floor.
- Clinical research is optional, but available.
