A DJ atStage Karaoke X Studiosis more than someone who plays songs - you're theheartbeat of the Main Stage.


Your job is to:

  • Control the show:Organize the queue so every guest gets a fair chance to sing and the energy on stage stays high.
  • Light up the room:Use our state-of-the-art lighting and effects to keep the space vibrant and dynamic.
  • Hype & host:Interact with performers, encourage the audience, and make sure everyone feels welcome and celebrated.
  • Protect the vibe & the gear:Keep the booth organized, the equipment safe, and maintain a fun but controlled environment.


Your presence sets the tone for the night - from the first mic check to the last call.


Responsibilities:


Entertainment & Guest Experience

  • Run the Main Stage karaoke show: organize and balance the song queue, make fair and exciting transitions between performers.
  • Hype up the room - cheer for every guest, make short, upbeat announcements, and keep the energy flowing.
  • Use lighting and special effects (fog, haze, gobos, LED walls) to elevate the experience.
  • Encourage engagement - help guests add songs to the queue, promote drink specials, and support events like birthdays or VIP parties.


Technical & Equipment

  • Set up and test all sound, lighting, and karaoke software before each shift.
  • Monitor microphone and sound quality throughout the night.
  • Safeguard equipment; ensure only authorized staff handle gear and settings.
  • Report any technical issues or malfunctions promptly.


Team Support

  • Communicate with bartenders and servers (e.g., last call, birthdays, VIP details).
  • Assist with keeping the stage and booth area clean and organized.
  • Support management with special events and themed nights.
