Job description

Hawthorn Medical Associates (HMA), a Brown University Health affiliated partner is recruiting board certified or eligible family medicine physicians with interest in primary care. HMA is the largest multi-specialty group practice in the Greater New Bedford area and believe providers should have the power to determine how they want to run their practice. With an option to become a shareholder, there are additional investment opportunities and no cap on vacation time. Most specialists onsite including behavioral health, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, orthopedics, OT/PT and many more.

  • Work side by side with 21 other primary care physicians while practicing independently
  • Opportunity to perform office-based procedures and develop subspecialties
  • Onsite Ambulatory Surgery Center, Diabetes Management/Dietitians, Diagnostic Imaging, Dialysis Center, OT/PT, and Pain Management
  • Experienced support staff with a dedicated MA and someone to handle prior authorizations
  • Appointment times are 15/30
  • Option to work with advanced practice providers
  • Triaged call from home only, 1:14 week, no more than 4 weekends per year
