Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hawks Cay Resort. The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the resort's facilities. This position requires hands-on experience with various maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs, to maintain the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to resort operations.

Maintain the resort’s pools, water features, and landscaping systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety checks, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures.

Assist in the execution of resort improvement projects, renovations, and new installations.

Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for daily operations.

Work collaboratively with other departments to provide seamless guest experiences.

Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or trade school training preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field, preferably in a resort or hospitality environment.

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
