What You'll Do:
As a Client Services Representative โ Benefits, you will:
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day servicing of client and carrier requests.
- Serve as a liaison between Account Managers and insurance carriers/general agents to facilitate client requests.
- Monitor and follow up with carriers and general agents to ensure timely completion of requests.
- Perform quality reviews of work at the request of Account Managers.
- Collaborate with LAVA team members on assigned tasks and projects.
- Maintain accurate client files within the Agency Management System.
- Track follow-up activities and respond to Account Manager requests promptly.
- Obtain pre-renewal and post-renewal documentation as requested by Account Managers or Producers.
- Assist with enrollment-related correspondence to carriers and general agents.
- Conduct enrollment follow-up through the Agency Management System and enrollment portal.
- Communicate enrollment updates regularly to Account Managers.
- Maintain accurate client contact information within the enrollment platform.
- Assist with client census preparation.
- Request Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs), plan documents, and rate grids.
- Prepare Requests for Proposals for assigned accounts.
- Process escalated claims for the department.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Process all incoming emails on the day they are received.
- Monitor the shared claims inbox.
- Maintain accurate client documentation within the Agency Management System.
- Respond promptly to internal team inquiries.
- Fax and email documentation as needed.
- Attach correspondence, faxes, memos, and emails to client files.
Qualifications:
- 0โ3 years of professional experience (insurance or employee benefits experience is a plus but not required).
- Ability to obtain a Life & Health Producer License within 60 days of hire. (Required)
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to follow company procedures, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Experience working with databases, agency management systems, or CRM platforms is a plus.
