Position Identification

  • Job Title – Field Technical Service Specialist – South
  • Report to – Field Service Unit Manager
  • Location - Grand Prairie, Texas

Job Purpose

Hankook Tire's Technical Services Department works in after-sales service, warranty, and quality related roles. This position will be responsible to regularly interact with Hankook's customers (distributors, dealers, and end-users) and internal staff regarding company products and warranties. Regularly travels to Hankook dealers, distributors, and Hankook's own facilities to inspect tires returned for warranty and/or quality issues and communicates with all necessary parties about findings. The position receives and answers simple to complex inquiries and complaints for all Hankook products through specialized technical knowledge of products and usage. This position will work at Hankook's TX Regional Distribution Center, located in Grand Prairie, TX (75050), and regularly travel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for inspections and communcations about Warranty and Quality items to internal staff and external customers in South area.
  • Receive and answer simple to complex customer inquiries for all Hankook products through specialized technical knowledge of products and usage.
  • Inspect return tires by physically visiting warehouses, dealers, and fleets, or by doing photo inspection.
  • Regular travel for company and/or dealer meetings, market surveys, and for field related issues
  • Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.
  • Keep up with the competitors' products information and tire industry regulations.
  • Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management
