Role Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to develop and implement patient-centric surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, assisting with discharge preparations, and providing patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical care

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility for licensure)
