What you'll do?

The Hand Sorter is responsible for inspecting and separating pallets into different grades and placing them in the appropriate area ready to be picked up by the forklift in a manner that meets Terzo Enterprises standards for safety, security, and productivity, in addition to adhering to the quality criteria.

Hours & Pay:

Monday - Friday

7: 00 am to 3:30 pm

Pay rate- $20.00/hr.

Duties:

  • Comply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • Inspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards in a safe and secure manner.
  • Hand Sorter manually inspects pallets and determines level of repair needed.
  • Hand Sort consists of a 2-person team to lift pallets, visually inspect, and place in appropriate stack of pallets for the next step in the process.
  • Ensure that proper inspection and separation of pallets are met, while achieving company expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

At the end of your shift, you will be responsible for restocking building supplies, cleaning the pallet repair area, and performing other duties as required. You may also be required to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.

Must be 18+ years old

Basic tool knowledge is a plus

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
