Job description

Reclaim Operator

Reclaim Operator Deceuninck North America is seeking Reclaim Operators for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Reclaim Operator is responsible for all forklift movement of scrap carts and gaylords of compound/regrind to and from the extrusion lines and reclaim racks. This position also moves materials into position for grinding. Reclaim Operators must keep accurate records of regrind usage and inventory of loading truck. Starting wage is $20.00/hour for Day shift and $22.00/hour for Night shift (includes a $2.00 shift differential). Schedule Needed: Night Shift 7:00pm to 7:00am (2-2-3 Schedule) Pay Rate: $20/hr

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for grinding operations.
  • Supply compound/regrind to the extrusion lines.
  • Hopper cleanouts for color changes and material transport to and from Extrusion Department.
  • Transporting of scrap carts to and from the Reclaim and Production Departments.
  • Supplying carts to the grinder and set up of gaylords with skids.
  • Stocking the regrind in proper locations for storage.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks with regrind material or lineals.
  • Recordkeeping of regrind usage as well as the material ground by grinder.
  • Housekeeping and 5S checklist as well as forklift safety checklist.
  • Assist in monthly inventory.
  • Sorting reclaim material.
  • Housekeeping racking system.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of forklift experience
  • Basic PC knowledge needed
