About the Role:
The Hand Processor plays a critical role in the efficient handling and processing of client materials, ensuring accurate sorting, insertion, and preparation for delivery or mailing. This position involves meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established procedures to meet quality and productivity standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately hand-sort materials and insert them into appropriate bins for delivery or envelopes for mailing, ensuring correct matching of materials.
  • Sort documents according to specified criteria, such as names, numbers, or other identifiers, to facilitate accurate processing.
  • Perform manual insertion of materials into envelopes for jobs that are not suitable for machine sorting and insertion, following established guidelines.
  • Address materials by hand as required, ensuring accuracy and legibility of recipient information.
  • Assemble materials per order specifications and prepare them for shipment, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete all job tracking paperwork and accurately input work data into appropriate systems in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate high levels of safety awareness, identify potential hazards, and promptly notify supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Follow security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines to protect the company's and customers' informational assets.
  • Generate labels via database system when required for accurate identification and tracking of materials.
  • Weigh, label, and log orders, apply postage, and deliver them to the shipping area as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support departmental or organizational needs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions, and create solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.

"The pay range for this position is at $17.83/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
