Job description

This Commercial HVAC company is seeking a dedicated HVAC Apprentice to join a small team of 1-3 technicians. This role involves working primarily on rooftop RTUs ranging from 2 to 35 tons, requiring comfort with heights and frequent travel to multiple job sites. The apprentice will report directly to the Service Manager and is expected to develop skills that will enable growth into a Senior Technician role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine RTU maintenance and equipment installation
  • Troubleshoot HVAC system issues effectively
  • Ensure EPA refrigerant handling compliance
  • Conduct work safely on rooftops and ladders
  • Interact professionally with customers on site
  • Follow safety protocols for roof and ladder use

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HVAC experience
