Job Summary:
Winners Gymnastics is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching a variety of skill levels and ages, from beginners to competitive gymnasts. You will be responsible for teaching correct techniques, maintaining safety standards, and inspiring gymnasts to achieve their goals in a fun, engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Instruct Gymnastics Classes: Teach proper techniques in tumbling, floor routines, bars, beam, vault, and other gymnastics skills to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Develop Lesson Plans: Create and implement structured lesson plans designed to improve each athlete’s strength, flexibility, and skills progression.
  • Safety First: Prioritize gymnast safety at all times, ensuring proper spotting techniques, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety guidelines.
  • Motivate and Encourage: Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating atmosphere to help gymnasts build confidence and reach their full potential.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other coaches, parents, and management to share progress updates, class scheduling needs, and any concerns.
  • Evaluate Performance: Monitor and assess athlete progress, providing constructive feedback and goal setting for continued development.
  • Maintain Equipment: Keep the gymnastics area tidy and ensure equipment is in good working condition. Report any repairs or replacements needed.

Qualifications:
  • Coaching Experience: Previous experience coaching gymnastics or related sports at various skill levels; experience with youth or competitive programs is a plus.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred; USAG Safety Certification or equivalent highly desirable.
  • Gymnastics Knowledge: Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, spotting methods, and progressions.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example, demonstrate professionalism, and maintain a positive, encouraging environment.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff.
