You bring steady leadership, sound judgment, and a team-first mindset. You care about high-quality instruction, strong communication, employee development, and creating an exceptional experience for athletes and families.

Other qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team
  • Experience coaching gymnastics, aerial arts, cheer, or Ninja
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and train employees
  • Strong operational judgment and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Self-starter, accountable, and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate clearly with athletes, parents, program staff, and coaches
  • Strong customer-service and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Embrace a growth mindset and team-first approach
  • USAG Professional Member (or ability to obtain) in good standing

What You’ll Do: As a member of our senior leadership team, you’re responsible for the overall performance of the location, including program quality, enrollment and retention, employee leadership, facility standards, customer experience, and financial performance. This position combines hands-on coaching with strategic and operational leadership.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the location, ensuring strong execution of programs, people, and business objectives
  • Maintain a regular coaching presence by teaching classes and providing instructional support while balancing leadership responsibilities (you’ll be coaching approximately 15 hours/week)
  • Ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality program delivery while supporting coaching excellence and athlete development
  • Develop and lead high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, talent development, and effective workforce planning
  • Drive enrollment growth, customer retention, operational efficiency, and financial performance across all programs
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for athletes and families through proactive communication, relationship-building, and issue resolution
  • Oversee facility operations and safety practices to ensure a professional, compliant, and welcoming environment
  • Foster a positive, values-driven culture that supports employee engagement, collaboration, and long-term organizational success

Who We Are: At Los Gatos Elite (LGE), how we train matters as much as what we train. Kristina Williams founded Los Gatos Elite in 2019 with a single mission: to impact children’s lives through sport.

Between our Los Gatos and West Valley locations, we are a legacy gymnastics program with roots going back decades. West Valley Gymnastics has been part of the community since the early 1980s, producing athletes who have gone on to Olympic teams, national teams, and NCAA gymnastics. We provide gymnastics, competitive team, Ninja, aerial arts, cheer, dance, camps, and other youth programming.

Today, LGE is known for:

  • Strong, competitive athletes who perform well at State, Regional, and beyond
  • A collaborative coaching staff that works together, not in silos
  • Investment in equipment, facilities, and ongoing learning for coaches
  • A values-driven culture guided by Respect, Encouragement, Grit, Incessant Improvement, and Kindness

We care deeply about our athletes, and we care about our teams’ work/life balance, too.
