Overview / Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire InsuranceSuite Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Guidewire Integration Framework, Java, web services, and enterprise integration patterns, with experience integrating PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter with third-party applications. Experience in Guidewire Cloud implementations and certifications is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations for Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
  • Build and support integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework, including Messaging, Web Services, Batch Processes, and Plugins.
  • Develop and consume SOAP and RESTful web services for enterprise integrations.
  • Design scalable integration solutions with external systems and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Develop integration components using Java, Gosu, XML, XSD, and Guidewire integration APIs.
  • Integrate Guidewire applications with external products such as document management, communication, credit, compliance, and data providers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development standards and integration best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for integration designs, interfaces, and APIs.
  • Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
  • 7-8 years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration Development.
  • Strong experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite v10 or later (PolicyCenter experience preferred).
  • Guidewire Certification in at least one InsuranceSuite application (PolicyCenter preferred).
  • Experience in at least one Guidewire Greenfield implementation.
  • Strong expertise in the Guidewire Integration Framework, including:
    • Messaging
    • Web Services
    • Batch Processes
    • Plugins
  • Hands-on experience developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and Java-based integration frameworks.
  • Good understanding of XML, XSD, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience integrating Guidewire with enterprise applications and third-party services.
  • Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and integration best practices.
  • Experience with SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end Guidewire Greenfield implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Guidewire Cloud Certification (PolicyCenter Cloud or related Guidewire Cloud certification).
  • Guidewire Integration Certification (Guidewire Certified Integration Developer or equivalent).
  • Experience working on Guidewire Cloud implementations or migrations.
  • Experience integrating Guidewire with third-party solutions such as:
