JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the health and safety of our community and healthcare workforce. Under the direction of the Director of Quality Support Services, performs a comprehensive intake and evaluation of workforce members reporting COVID symptoms and/or with potential exposures to COVID for all divisions of OMC including 1) analyzing risk of COVID, 2) referring for COVID testing as appropriate, 3) determining any needed work restrictions, 4) following up on test results and symptoms to ensure timely and safe return to work, 5) maintaining privacy of workforce member health information, 6) communicating and coordinating with impacted departments. Additionally, may perform COVID testing for workforce members, data entry, and data analysis. Further supports COVID risk reduction through coordination of and carrying out tasks for OMC's Respiratory Protection Program. Follows guidance from OMC Infection Prevention and Control team and ensures compliance with regulatory/legal standards. Develops and delivers training for new team members. Designs processes and systems to support the work. Supports the Quality Management System (QMS).

EDUCATION

  • Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum two years' experience in healthcare-related field, preferably with experience in occupational health, healthcare data analytics, or performance improvement methods and systems analysis (education may be considered in lieu of experience).

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

  • RN, CNA, or MA preferred.
  • CPHQ or CPPS preferred.
  • Smartsheet core product certification or ability to obtain preferred.
