Description

Join the CRP Team! We are currently searching a technician to be responsible for inspection and testing of a variety of manufactured products as well as be a support role for several areas of manufacturing, including but not limited to; shipping, quality and assembly. The salary range begins at $14 -$15 /hr depending on experience. This is a direct hire position in a family owned company that has been in New Jersey for over 65 years.

Essential Functions:  

Perform product appearance inspection and function test duties. 

Understand product failure reasons and be able to identify the relative work stations.

Identify and report defective products or questionable conditions to the supervisor.

Document inspections and testing result per SOP.

Additional Responsibilities:  

Maintain the work area and test station in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

Inform co-workers and report supervisor with product defects. 


Requirements

  Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Perform basic visual quality inspections on products

Maintain the production pace of other team members

Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements 

May be required to stand for long periods of time

May involve some repetitive motions

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers

Do to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
