What You’ll Do


As a Guest Services Manager you are an important member of the Program and Guest Experience Team. Guest Services is primarily responsible for building relationships and providing excellent experiences for our ministry partners. SpringHill cares about being more than just a property for guests to use, we want to be a true partner to churches and other like-minded partners. The Guest Services Manager serves as the primary point of contact for guest groups visiting the property and assists them through the planning, contracting, and execution phases of events. The Guest Services Manager assists with the execution of SpringHill programming and manages overnight lodging and accommodations for other guests and volunteers. This role will assist in hiring a summer and seasonal team of hosts and guest service specialists. They will be responsible for onboarding young leaders and building a positive team culture that represents Christ.


How You’ll Succeed

  • Have a strong focus on building relationships with ministry partners, investing time and energy to get to know their preferences and help execute an excellent SpringHill experience.
  • Organize information from ministry partners and lead a weekly meeting for all SpringHill departments that helps ensure guests have a great experience while on camp.
  • Work alongside of the SpringHill program team to creatively think about how to make camper and parent experiences better and better.
  • Provide exceptional quality service to ministry partners and SpringHill programmed events by leading a team of young people to anticipate needs and follow through.
  • Host potential ministry partners to SpringHill and help them see a vision for what camp could be like and secure new bookings.
  • Find, train and equip young leaders to become partners in the SpringHill mission
  • Manage the Guest Services budgets, expenses and finances established by supervisor while making sound business decisions.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Program and Guest Experience.

  • Work collaboratively with team to create a positive and welcoming environment for all staff and guests

Where You’ll Be


Most days you will be in and out of the SpringHill office and other spaces. This is not a desk job, you will not be tied to a computer, but rather with the ability to be mobile, build relationships and be available for needs. Taking calls with churches, touring potential guests around camp, setting up physical spaces, training young leaders or answering hosts calls, you will be all over camp. Physical demands mainly include, walking, climbing stairs, bending, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

As a team, we are going into the world daily! This position may require some overnight travel for visiting camps, recruiting events, retreats and conferences. Overall, the travel requirement for this position is about 10-20%.
