Job description

Guest Services Assistants are responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for Parrot Cove Indoor Water Park. Guest Services Assistants are expected to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to learn a Point of Sale system, and assist in creating a positive experience for park guest. Guest Services Assistants will perform a variety of duties including handling transactions in cash, credit, or debit; cleaning designated areas within the park, and serving potential guests over the phone.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

Preferred Experience

  • 6+ months of guest services or front desk experience
  • Previous experience with Point of Sale systems

Essential Job Functions

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Operating a Point of Sale system and completing transactions in cash, credit, and debit
  • Operating a cash drawer, including accurately counting the drawer in and out during shifts
  • Answering phone calls and questions from potential guests accurately
  • Maintaining cleanliness of assigned work areas
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
  • Additional duties as requested
