Assistant Supervisor, Guest Arrival - Trams

What you get to do:

  • Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals.
  • Responsible for the development of OJT's and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures.
  • Create and maintain a rotation for the teams staffed positions.
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve.
  • Respond to guest and ambassador needs.
  • Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects.
  • Oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures
  • Utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed.
  • Oversee assigned operating area.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.


What it takes to succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver's license.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification.
  • Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds.
  • Ability to able to climb stairs.
  • Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides.
  • Ability to operate in a cash handling environment.
  • Three full days of open availability
  • Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal events.

Compensation: 13.41

What else is required:

  • Class A or B CDL with P endorsement and air brakes
  • Knowledge on CDL pre-trip inspection process
  • Ability to assist with CDL and DOT compliance regarding medical cards, driver license checks, and DOT required random drug testing.
