Job description

Salary: $18-$22 DOE

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Field Installation Technician, you will be the face of Guardian Health Technologies and our partner medical practices inside patients homes. You will install compact, wall-mounted radar monitoring devices that passively track patients sleep vitals (heart rate, respiratory rate, and general movement) with no wearables required. This is a part-time role with a clear path to full-time for the right candidate. This role will spend their time traveling from patient's home to patient's home.


ABOUT THE DEVICES

The devices are small, square plastic units that adhere to the wall and use low-power radar to monitor vitals during sleep. Installation takes approximately 1530 minutes per patient.


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Hours

1520 hours per week (part-time)

Pay

$18-$22 per hour

Mileage

$0.72 per mile driven for all patient home visits

Transportation

Personal vehicle required. A company vehicle will be provided if/when the role transitions to full-time. Mileage reimbursed until then (Federal reimbursement rate).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain reliable, on-time attendance
  • Maintain a clean and appropriate dress appearance
  • Travel to patients homes to install radar monitoring devices
  • Mount devices on walls near the patients bed according to Guardians installation protocol
  • Confirm device connectivity and verify that vital sign data (heart rate, respiratory rate) is transmitting correctly
  • Walk patients and caregivers through what the device does and answer basic questions
  • Represent our partner medical practices with professionalism and warmth
  • Log completed installations and flag any technical issues to the Guardian team
  • Coordinate scheduling with our client care teams


WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong comfort with consumer technology (smartphones, Wi-Fi, apps)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a high-service mindset; you are representing a medical practice inside someones home, and first impressions matter

  • Consistent detail orientation
  • Prior experience in home health, medical assisting, field service, or customer-facing technical roles is a plus, but not required
