Agency Growth Lead

Conveo

New York, NY โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Posted 16 days ago

Job description

Own the full commercial lifecycle of Conveo's Agency Vertical - from first demo to account expansion - and build the playbook that turns research agencies into power users of AI-driven research and a flywheel for end-client engagement.
What we are building at Conveo
Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Ipsos use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing and product teams.
#1 What problem are we solving, and why is this an important problem to solve
The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial. Running great research also requires expertise, which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them. Conveo is the platform that closes this gap by enabling affordable, scaled, and deep insights in days instead of weeks.
#2 The team you will join
You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.
#3 How we operate
  • We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time.
  • We work hard, and we have fun.
  • To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.

The Role
Conveo's agency vertical has grown from a self-serve side-channel to a serious revenue line - six figure revenue in March alone, double digit active agency accounts, and a pipeline that includes the biggest players in the agency business. The vertical is targeting 7-figure turnover in 2026 and needs its first dedicated growth hire to keep up with the momentum.
You'll report directly to Anton (who built the agency vertical from scratch) and join a small, high-output team. This is not a siloed SDR or CSM role - you'll run the full lifecycle: sourcing and closing new agency accounts, onboarding them onto the platform, driving adoption, and expanding usage across their researcher teams. You'll work with agencies ranging from boutique research firms to global holding companies.
The day-to-day is fast-paced, varied, and commercial. One hour you're running a discovery call with a global agency exploring AI research tools; the next you're helping a power user set up a complex multi-market study; the next you're building an outbound sequence targeting the top 50 research agencies globally. This role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and gets energy from wearing multiple hats in a high-growth environment.
This is a high-leverage role in which you will:
  • Own new agency sales end-to-end - from first touch to signed account
  • Onboard new agencies and get them to first value (first completed study) within days
  • Manage and expand a growing book of agency accounts, driving platform adoption and usage
  • Build and refine the agency sales and CS playbook that the team will scale on
  • Be the voice of the agency customer internally - feeding product, marketing, and engineering with what agencies actually need

Your Mission
1. Drive new agency revenue through outbound and inbound sales
  • Own the full agency sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, close
  • Run demos that show agencies how Conveo transforms their research delivery (faster, cheaper, better qual)
  • Manage vendor onboarding processes for larger agencies (WPP, Omnicom-level procurement)
  • Consistently grow the agency customer base through a mix of inbound and outbound motions

2. Onboard new agencies and get them to first value fast
  • Run onboarding calls and first-study support for new sign-ups
  • Provide training on the platform, study design, and AI moderator capabilities
  • Ensure every new agency runs their first study within 14 days of signing
  • Maintain up-to-date self-serve materials and agency enablement docs

3. Expand and retain the existing agency book of business
  • Manage a book of business
  • Drive expansion through company-wide trainings, new team onboarding, and usage-based growth
  • Monitor account health using activity data and re-engage dormant accounts
  • Identify agency accounts ready for enterprise-level deals and coordinate handoff

4. Build the agency growth engine
  • Develop outbound sequences and lead lists targeting top global research agencies
  • Create and maintain agency-specific sales collateral, case studies, and ROI narratives
  • Track pipeline in HubSpot and run weekly reporting on activity, usage, and account health
  • Propose and implement process improvements - automations, templates, CRM/AI workflows

What we're looking for
  • 2-6 years in a commercial role at a SaaS company, research agency, or (research) tech platform - ideally in a hybrid sales/partner sales + CS capacity OR 2-6 years in a client-facing role at a top-tier consulting firm, having shown great ownership, client hands and a knack for commercials and technology
  • You understand how research agencies work: how they pitch, win, and deliver projects for end-clients
  • Comfortable running the full sales cycle independently - from cold outreach to closing
  • Naturally curious about AI and how it changes research workflows - you've used AI tools in your own work
  • Exceptional at building relationships quickly - agencies trust you because you speak their language
  • Highly organized and self-directed - you can manage 50+ accounts and a pipeline without dropping balls
  • Strong communicator: clear, concise, and comfortable presenting to senior agency leaders

Nice to have
  • Experience working at or selling to market research agencies
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies (IDIs, focus groups, ethnography)
  • Experience with HubSpot, Intercom, and self-serve SaaS sales motions
  • Experience at an early-stage startup where you wore many hats

What success looks like
After 6-12 months:
  • You've personally closed a set number of new agency accounts and driven agency revenue
  • Your onboarded agencies run their first study within weeks consistently
  • The agency book of business has grown active accounts under your influence
  • You've built the onboarding and expansion playbook that the next agency hire will follow
  • Multiple accounts have expanded to enterprise-level deals through your groundwork
  • You've established yourself as the go-to person for agency clients - they come to you first

Why join us
At Conveo, you'll join a team that genuinely enjoys working and spending time together. We care about building real relationships, not just great products. That's why we run quarterly team off-sites where we disconnect, reset, and have fun.
  • Own a high-impact role at a hyper-growth, YC-backed AI company
  • Direct access to founders and senior leadership
  • Work with world-class enterprise clients (Unilever, Google, P&G, Canva, and more)
  • Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity (stock options) with real upside
  • Hybrid working model with offices in London, Antwerp, and New York
  • A culture built on taste, speed, ownership, and ambition
