Position Overview

  • The VP, GAS is the Account team leader within their assigned accounts, responsible for establishing and maintaining client/agency strategic partnerships, providing ongoing strategic oversight of assigned accounts, and maintaining agency business practices and financial standards across territory while driving team performance and development, quality work execution, client satisfaction, and agency growth.  
  • The VP, GAS must have a proven track record with years of experience of not only independent execution of the GAS responsibilities, but must also demonstrate the ability to successfully onboard, train, and coach others in more junior-level roles. 
  • The VP, GAS serves as the senior client business lead on their accounts with a focus on the management of prioritized and/or high-volume accounts. Must have a proven track record with years of experience in not only independent execution of responsibilities but also a demonstrated record of substantial business growth and staff development. 
  • The VP, GAS must demonstrate the ability to lead and contribute to new business activities including RFP response and presentation.
  • Participate in client-related travel as required, including local (tri-state) and domestic travel, with potential for international travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7-8+ years of progressive account management experience in medical communications, HCP promotion, or client-side product management 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports 
  • Experience across multiple products, therapeutic categories, and client companies 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Master's degree in business or science preferred 

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000

BGB Group is headquartered in New York City, and the salary range listed reflects the expected base compensation for this role in the New York City metropolitan area. This position may be performed remotely within the United States. For candidates located outside the New York City area, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market for the employee's primary work location. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
