Position Overview: Taymar Sales U.'s Director of of Ticket Sales, Lindenwood University Athletics, position will be responsible for the leadership and execution of all aspects of ticket revenue generation for the Lindenwood Athletics Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of all ticket sales strategy and execution, managing the back end ticket operations for all ticketed sports, outbound phone calls to generate new season ticket and group sales, retention of current season ticket holders through elite customer service, maintaining the ticket operations system, daily and weekly reporting, and other duties as determined by senior management and the Athletics Department.
Responsibilities:
  • Day to day oversight of ticket sales strategy and execution for all ticketed athletic events.
  • Plan, Create and Execute a comprehensive year round ticket sales strategy to grow revenue for Lindenwood Athletics.
  • Manage day-to-day of all ticket operation tasks and box office functions for all athletic events.
  • Exceed all Ticket Sales revenue goals determined by senior management.
  • Communicate with the Lindenwood fan base through outbound calls, emails and face to face meetings
  • Initiate and execute ticket sales results for Group Sales, New Season Ticket Sales and Renewal campaigns.
  • Generate reports and track overall ticketing revenue pace towards goals.
  • Work as a self starter to innovate new initiatives to drive revenue for the athletics department.
  • Represent athletics program and University with the highest integrity.
  • Build superior relationships with all fans, donors and athletic department constituents.
  • Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment to produce accurate results.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all internal & external units of the department and University to ensure a positive event experience for customers.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ Years experience in a Sports Ticket Sales role
  • Proven track record and success in group ticket sales
  • Thorough knowledge of ticket sales processes and procedures.
  • Experience in intercollegiate athletics or professional ticket sales with successful results.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a degree in Sports Management or a related field.
  • Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
  • Ability to work various hours including nights and weekends.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, integrity, communication skills, and desire & ability to learn in a fast paced, highly competitive industry
