Overview:

Angel City is looking for a Group Ticket Sales Account Manager to support the growth of Angel City FC's fan base and ticketing department. Providing thoughtful, strategic product and experience opportunities to our fans is paramount to Angel City's success.This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with community organizations, schools, youth soccer and sport leagues, corporations, and other large group buyers. This individual will be expected to generate new business, execute impactful group events, and contribute to the growth and success of the Ticketing department.This role will report to the Manager, Group Ticket Sales.

Once here you will (Key Responsibilities):

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and activity goals to support the organization's overall revenue targets.
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound calling, email outreach, networking, and attendance at community and industry events.
  • Effectively manage and track all sales activities and client interactions using the CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and strong pipeline development.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local schools, youth sports organizations (e.g., AYSO, club teams), businesses, community groups, and affinity-based organizations.
  • Represent ACFC at charitable events, networking functions, and sales meetings to build awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to create and execute offerings that align with broader organizational goals.
  • Strategically identify and implement outreach tactics to engage prospective buyers and drive ticket interest.
  • Provide exceptional service and relationship management for ticket buyers, with an emphasis on renewals and referrals.
  • Accurately assess customer needs in initial conversations and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Drive revenue growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Maintain a healthy and balanced sales pipeline with a focus on high conversion rates.
  • Work assigned home games and events to support sales and service initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of group experiences and game day activations.

We are particularly interested in candidates that have demonstrated fluency in the following areas:

  • Experience working in ticketing sales and/or service, preferably within professional sports, luxury, or hospitality
  • Ability to stand, set up and break down sales tables, work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • History of positive relationship building 
  • The ability to work independently and demonstrate innovation and initiative
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and clients simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team-player who believes in the mission and values of Angel City and the NWSL
  • Ideal to have knowledge and proficiency in Archtics and Salesforce
  • Bilingual or multilingual a plus (English/Spanish).

Compensation:

This is a non-exempt position that pays $24 per hour, plus commission.
